The menu at 21st In Germantown and Barrel Room At 21st is a bold mix of comfort, smoke, and Southern flair. I kicked off with the Smoked Wings, and they nailed the smoky-char balance. The Tenders were a solid classic-crispy, golden, and juicy-and I appreciated the option of going meat-free with the crunchy Fried Cauliflower, which packed just the right seasoning.

Moving into Tonight's Specials, the Half Rack of Memphis Style Ribs came smothered in a tangy, finger-licking sauce that fell right off the bone. The Smoked Brisket Sandwich was piled high with tender brisket, subtly smoky and richly marbled. The Pulled Pork Sandwich was just as satisfying, featuring that slow-cooked, juicy texture you expect in a southern-style BBQ.

From the Sandwiches section, the All American Burger with Bacon was an indulgent choice-thick, cheesy, and perfectly layered. The Gouda Morning Burger added a creamy, smoky twist that really stood out. But my favorite might’ve been the O.G. Melt-a gooey, grilled masterpiece served with your pick of fries, grilled haricot verts, or more fried cauliflower if you’re going all in. Every bite here felt crafted for good times and hearty appetites.
